This beautiful 1956 Ford Thunderbird is finished in rare “Goldenglow” yellow. An original California car bought brand new in 1956. Purchased by the 2nd owner in Los Angels in 1970 where it received a repaint of its rare yellow and underwent chrome work and a rebuild of its 312ci engine. It spent the next several years in Phoenix, AZ until 1991 when it was purchased and moved to Vancouver, BC. where it was stored in a heated garage. In 1999 the car underwent a major frame-on rebuild including an engine bay makeover and the installation of a new 302ci crate motor to resolve a low compression issue in the original 312. It also received an automatic transmission rebuild, aftermarket AC was added, new wheels, tires and front disc brakes as well as suspension upgrades, with new front and rear sway bars. The interior also received a makeover with new carpets, upholstery, door panels and dash. All the work was completed by renowned Thunderbird specialists at Hills Restorations in Racine, OH.
